Maintaining a fitness routine while traveling can be challenging, but it’s not impossible! Whether you’re on a business trip or enjoying a vacation, there are plenty of strategies you can employ to keep active and healthy.
Firstly, consider your mode of transportation. If you’re flying, walk around the airport, then for goodness sake relax on the plane. For road trips, schedule breaks to stretch and walk around. Once at your destination, opt for walking or biking over driving when possible. Not only will you get exercise, but you’ll also experience the local area more intimately.
Eating healthy is the most important part. Not only smart but wise for the pocketbook. Just because you’re on a trip, don’t undo all the hard work. Going out to a special place is great. Have a few extra snacks, okay, but then stop. You’re not on vacation to get fat; you are on an adventure to improve your lifeβ¦
You don’t have to stick to being strict, but be smart and healthy so you don’t have extra work to do when you get back or not being able to wear your cute or Manly shorts.
