π Morning Rides and Personal Goals π΄ββοΈ
Hey everyone!
As the weather gets warmer in the mornings, itβs the perfect time to set new goals and push myself even further on my bike. Currently, I can ride 1.76 miles in 5 minutes and 22 seconds. My mind is set on improving this time, and here’s my plan for the next month:
Where I Am:
- Current Time: 1.76 miles in 5 minutes and 22 seconds
- Pace: Approximately 3.29 minutes per mile
Where I Want to Be in One Month:
- Goal: Reduce my time and achieve a faster ride.Β
How I Plan to Get There:
- Earlier Workouts: With the mornings warming up, Iβm shifting my workouts to earlier times to get a ride in, but seriously who doesn’t have 5 min to ride?
- Interval Training: Incorporating high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to build speed and endurance.
- Strength Training: Focusing on core and leg strength to improve my power and stability on the bike.
- Skill Development: Practicing my cornering, braking, and overall bike handling skills.
- Bike Maintenance: Keeping my bike in top condition for peak performance.
- Nutrition and Hydration: Ensuring Iβm well-fueled and hydrated for every ride. Slim down a bit for faster speed.Β
- Mental Focus: Using visualization and positive self-talk to stay motivated and confident.
Iβm excited to race against myself and see the improvements over the next month. Stay tuned for updates on my progress!
